The Scent of the Sea

A romantic series with elements of comedy set in exotic Tunisia. After his breakup, Ambassador Martin Skala (Marián Mitaš) tries to start over and focus on his work and family. However, his plans are disrupted by a meeting with the energetic and independent Lucia Pokorná (Natália Germani), the owner of a travel agency, who turns his life upside down.

At the embassy, we also meet our promoted colleagues Filip (Daniel Žulčák) and Nina (Jana Labajová), whose relationship oscillates between rivalry and closeness. Other characters from the consulate also bring dynamism to the story – from the warm-hearted clerk Kamila (Alena Pajtinková), to the strict bureaucrat Karol (Tomáš Mischura), and the young intern Dorka (Diana Ristová).

Each episode brings a separate “feel good” story set against the backdrop of the newly opened embassy and Tunisian scenery. The central romantic storyline of Martin and Lucie ties together the entire ten-part narrative, proving that love comes in many forms—and sometimes surprises us where we least expect it.
