The News has long been among the most watched programs on the Slovak market, and JOJ television has maintained its position for more than two decades.
Viewers have access to a complete news service every working day from morning to evening – Ranné noviny and Noviny o 12 provide an up-to-date overview of events, while the afternoon public affairs program Topstar opens the door to the world of culture, art, and show business.
During prime time, a news block begins with the KRIMIprogram, which focuses on current events and social issues. Next is Noviny TV JOJ – the television station’s flagship news program, which covers events at home and abroad and provides an in-depth look at social and political issues. This is followed by Šport, with the latest results and an overview of sporting events, and the news block concludes with Najlepšie počasie.
