How can one live with a mistake that cannot be corrected?

Director Tereza Nvotová presents a powerful and emotional story inspired by real events – a father whose life completely falls apart as a result of a single tragic mistake tries to regain the trust of his family. A play about guilt, fate, and love that tests the limits of forgiveness.

The film features actors such as Milan Ondrík, Dominika Morávková, and Aňa Geislerová. The screenplay was written by Tereza Nvotová and Dušan Budzak, Adam Suzin was in charge of cinematography, and Jonatan Pjoni Pastirčák composed the music.

“The father, who otherwise acted as a caring parent, had a normal day, according to the media. He rushed to work, thinking he had already taken his daughter to kindergarten—and his brain literally “rewrote” reality. A tragedy in a car that took place in Nitra in the summer of 2015 became the starting point for the story. The temperature in the car rose to 69.5 °C, causing irreversible damage.”

The film features powerful performances and bold directing—long static shots, minimal music, and an authentic portrayal of a mental breakdown. A challenge for the viewer: to experience a film that does not seek answers, but triggers a deep personal dialogue.
