School is just the beginning. What’s important happens between people.
With a fresh approach, The Sixth Form follows today’s generation, whose coming of age is marked by the pressure of expectations, ambitions, and personal insecurities. Relationships, conflicts, the first big decisions, and small victories and failures all meet under one roof – told with humor that is sharp, spot-on, and very contemporary.
The series is directed by Adam Sedlák, Július Ševčík, and Jan Hřebejk. The leading roles are played by Tomáš Sean Pšenička, Eliška Panáčková, and Karin Poláková, alongside veteran actors such as Ľubo Kostelný and Zuzana Krónerová.
Filming in a real school gives The Sixth Form authenticity and energy. It’s not just a show about school, but mainly about the time of life when young people figure out who they want to be and what they’re willing to do to get there.
