After three years of broadcasting of the first Slovak sports TV station JOJ Sport, it is joined by a second, equivalent in content station JOJ Sport 2, which is the 15th station in the portfolio of JOJ Group, the largest media group in Slovakia.

Two sports stations mean even more sports content and even more support for Slovak sport. From now on, Slovak audience will not miss anything, no sports event, no race and no goal. There will be space for both domestic and international competitions in majority popular sports, as well as minority and less popular sports. We will introduce Slovak athletes active at home and abroad, their careers and lifestyle in documentaries, interviews and profiles. We will map young Slovak sports talents, present smaller clubs and broadcast children’s tournaments and junior matches. Both stations will also feature race footage, highlights, reports, studios and discussions.

We have completed the hockey content of Slovak club competitions and representative events, which means that in 2025 the viewer will find all relevant Slovak and European hockey on our screens – Hlinka-Gretzky Cup, JOJ Sport Slovak Cup, Tipos Extraliga, World Championship U20, World Championship U18, World Championship U18, World Senior Championship, Olympic Qualification, Tatra Cup, Spengler Cup, women’s hockey.

In the upcoming fruitful sports season, football fans will also find something to their taste. Slovnaft Cup, the second league, the Slovak national under-21 men’s team and the national women’s team will from September be complemented by two of Europe’s three most prestigious club competitions – the Europa League and the Conference League. As a licensee, we have the first choice of selecting the matches.

During the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup, we will offer the spectators a complete programme of the individual events – men’s and women’s races in all disciplines, including interviews and ceremonies (FIS snowboard & freestyle, FIS classic skiing).

Fans of the highest quality women’s tennis can also look forward to our sports broadcasts (Billie Jean King Cup), rugby or squash (World Championships), and there will be no shortage of board sports – volleyball, basketball (Tipos SBL) or handball (Asobal League, European Championships and World Championships). We will also bring to our screens water slalom, canoeing, golf, athletics, American football, gymnastics, athletics, bouldering, parkour, car circuits and many other sporting events from home and around the world.
